Keith Lusher - NorthshoreFishingReport.com
In 2012 I bought the domain name NorthshoreFishingReport.com in the attempt to fill the online void of fishing information for those on the North Shore of Lake Pontchartrain.

The first few days were tough and I can remember having to go fishing just so I could post a report on the website. It was a bit embarrassing for the first 2 weeks but I noticed more and more conversation in the forum and the mentality of "I'm going fishing Saturday so I'll have a report then" became contagious and in 2 months we collected 25 fishing reports from fishermen that fished on the Northshore.
Within the first year of publication the website garnered 100,002 unique visits, 474,960 page views, and a bounce rate of 23.28%. NorthshoreFishingReport.com was gaining steam and I continued to learn more about graphics, writing, coding, and video recording.
In 2013 I learned the power of the internet when 4 advertisers wanted to know how much it would cost to "get in front" of my audience.

Signing my first advertiser was a huge boost to the legitimacy of NFR and by the end of 2013 my "little website" would receive an even bigger boost.
Kevin Chiri owned the Slidell Independent and contacted me about bringing my content to his local newspaper. The next week the Northshore Fishing Report was a part of the sports section which put NFR in front 15,000 more people every week.
This boosted the website's popularity even more and in 2014 NorthshoreFishingRpeort.com garnered 275,503 unique views, 992,020 page views and a bounce rate of 32.72 %.
Later that year I was accepted as a member of the Louisiana Outdoor Writers Association and won 1st place for an article that was featured in the Slidell Independent.
Between the newspaper and website the Northshore Fishing Report was now being viewed by a total of 80,000 people per month.

The brand was growing in viewership and in 2015 would expand in listenership as Don Dubuc brought the Northshore Fishing Report to his More Outdoors Radio Program on WWL which is heard throughout the state of Louisiana.
Today the Northshore Fishing Report is online, in print, and on the radio and is shining the light on St. Tammany and Tangipahoa Parish helping sportsmen learn more about our unique local fisheries.
I am currently looking to expand the Northshore Fishing Report into more media outlets. If you are interested in bringing my local brand to your channel of communication, let's talk, I'd love to make it happen!
Also, if you own or play a decision making role for a local business on the Northshore I'd love to work with your company to find an advertising plan that plays to Northshore Fishing Report's local audience.
