For the last Bass Assassins tournament we ended up with 18 anglers showing up to battle it out on Lock 1.  We were greeted with very nice mild temps that were a great surprise with the temps climbing into the 90's lately.  It was actually a little chilly while running down the canal.  It was not enough of a cool snap to bring the water temps down however with them still hovering at 80 in the morning. The fishing has been pretty tough lately and while we had some good weights in this tournament everyone at the weigh in was talking about how hard it was to catch their bags.  Eric Ciko bested the field with his 8.96 lbs. limit that had a 4.10 lbs. kicker that, believe it or not, was not the big fish of the day.  Big fish of the day went to second place Chuck Artigue who brought in 3 fish for a total of 8.17 lbs. and a 4.51 kicker.  Cody Willson took home the third place honors with a 7.91 lbs. limit.
