The Double Nickel (West) fished the Tchefuncte River on Tuesday. The river was in perfect condition, but someone forgot to tell the fish. Out of the four anglers that fished the tournament, it was Richard Alloto who brought back the heaviest bag at 3.33 pounds. Joe Picone caught the big bass of the day with a 1.92-pound bass. 

The Double Nickel (East) fished the East Pearl River. The tide was high as veryone showed up to the launch. Despite the forecast, the tide didn't start falling until 10:00 p.m. which led to not many fish being caught.  Guy Stegall took first place with 3-fish weighing 5.56 pounds. C J Mayeux came in second place with a limit that weighed 4.65 pounds. In third place was Ralph Williams with a 3-fish bag that weighed 4.43 pounds. Williams also won the big fish pot with a bass that weighed 2.72 pounds.

The Tchefuncte River was still showing signs of the Hurricane at 9 anglers fished the Double Nickel event. The water was fairly clean but there was debris floating everywhere. In the end, Bobby Newberry dodged the debris and found the fish. Newberry weighed in a 3-fish limit of 3.51 pounds. Steve McCoy won the big bass pot with a bass that weighed 2.24 pounds.
