The Double Nickel (east) Bass Club fished the East Pearl River. The winds were whipping as 19 boats competed on a high, muddy, incoming tide.  Ralph Dunn came in first place with a 3-fish limit weighing 6.27 lbs. Dunn also took big bass honors with a 3.53-lb. bass. Guy Stegall came in second place with a limit that weighed 5.15 lbs. Chris Stuart took third place with 5.00 lbs.  

The Double Nickel Bass Club (East) fished the East Pearl Riveron the day after a front blew through howver there was still a crowd of 20 boats that showed up to fish. The anglers competed with high winds but was still able to catch limits, albeit, they were on the small side. In the end Guy Stegall took first place with a limti of  5.71 pounds. In second place was BobPerry with a limit that weighed 5.35 pounds.  Barry Lee came in third place with 4.87 pounds. Brian Sollberger was able to catch the big fish of the day: a 3.38-pound bass which claimed the big fish pot
