The last points tournament of the 2023 Fall/Winter Series is now in the books.  On December 17th, the Liars and Lunker's fished out of the East Pearl River to cap off a good season.  Eleven teams showed up, some looking to gain valuable points while others were just looking for a cash prize. At the end of the day, it was Paul Paille and Kyle Hills grabbing the win with 9.53 pounds. They also had the big bass of the day, weighing in at 4.25 pounds.  Second place went to Eric Ciko with 6.09 pounds.  Roger Mitchell took third place with 5.47 pounds.  As the weights showed, it was a very tough, post front, windy day. Only one limit of bass was weighed in and that was by the winners of the tournament.

The rain didn't stop the fourth Liars and Lunker's Fall/Winter Series tournament, which was held at the East Pearl River on November 26th. Only seven teams should up in the predawn rain to participate. Word had it, the rain scared some off, deer and duck hunting lured some away and maybe a few were still recovering from Thanksgiving. Either way, a lot of fish were caught and good fellowship was had by those in attendance.
