Memorial Day weekend is one of the busiest weekends on the Tchefuncte River, and that's where the draw brought us for the last Bass Assassins tournament. The weather leading up to this tournament, and for the day was rainy and mild. Luckily this kept the crowds down for the 21 anglers that showed up. These anglers were greeted with a high tide that falling in the morning. The fishing was tough but the fish caught were good fish. It took over 9 lbs. to get in the top 3. Taking home the win was Barrett Saunders with a 9.62 lbs. limit.
Chad Babin took home 2nd with a 9.56 lbs. limit. Babin also won the big fish pot by bringing in a 3.37-pound fish
In third we find Troy Ladner with a limit totaling 9.29 lbs. A 8.36 lbs. limit was brought in by John Seagers to take home fourth.
