Ronald Pierre Northshore bass fishing vet Jimmy Dorris remains in the lead after the West Pearl River Shoot-out. He had a decent finish on the West but could not add any valuable points to his best 9 finishes for the year. Chris Basey scored some valuable points in this last event and shorted the gap between him and the AOY leader. He is now only 145 points behind Jimmy Dorris and still has 6 events left to go. Joe Picone made another good showing on the West Pearl River Shoot-out and earned some valuable points in the AOY race. Joe has shortened the distance between him and second place AOY contender Chris Basey by only 25 points with 6 events left to go. One more good finish and he will be looking to go toe to toe with AOY front runner Jimmy Dorris for the AOY Crown. Up next is the Lock 1 Lock Down where Joe is always a threat. He has the AOY Crown in his sights and is looking to capitalize with another strong finish on the Lock. 6 events left to go for this season and it is still anyone's game.
