Ronald Pierre Northshore bass fishing vet Jimmy Dorris remains in the lead after a grueling tournament on the East Pearl River Rumble. While Jimmy still has a firm grip on the lead another veteran river angler Chris Basey remains in 2nd place in the AOY standings after posting another high finish after event #9. While Beaux Lasiter is still in 3rd place we have another player that moved into contention in the AOY Race. Joe Picone pulls out another high finish on the East Pearl and is now in contention for the AOY title. While all of the attention is focused on the top 4 spots, my attention is looking at two up and coming river anglers by the names of Kyle Hills, and Shawn Hartman. These two young anglers have already posted wins on their home waters and are placed securely in 5th and 6th place in AOY contention. These two bass fishing young guns are hungry and are eying down the AOY title. Things will begin to shake up now that we have the first 9 tournaments down and have reached the midway point in the season. Up next we have the Lock 1 Lock down and I expect nothing less than another nail biter come weigh in time.
