If I could write a script for a awesome morning it would have looked just like this morning. Cooler temps and falling tide greeted the 20 anglers at the East Pearl Bass Assassins event today. The wind even started blowing before the sun came up. I looked like it was going to be a great day where people could catch them using several different patterns. There was 6 fish over 3 lbs. brought in to the scales but it still was a grind out there to get the fish to bite. It took 9 lbs. 3 oz. to claim first place. That limit was brought in by Jim Harris. Jim also had a 3 lbs. 13 oz. kicker that tied with Chris Basey for big fish. Second went to Paul Paille for his 8 lbs. 15 oz. limit. Danny Giovingo landed in third with a 7 lbs. 13 oz. limit. Rounding up the winners was Timmy Dickens with five fish weighing 7 lbs. 12 oz.
