Keith Lusher The Double Nickel Bass Club (west) fished the Tchefuncte River on Tuesday. The club squeezed one more tournament in before work on the new 4th St. Launch begins in January. The River was dirty towards the Abita River and cleaner the further south anglers went. In the end, it was Joe Picone who took first place with a 3-fish tournament limit weighing 7.63 pounds. Picone also cuaght the big fish of the day: a 3.97-pound bass.
