The last Bass Assassins tournament was originally scheduled for the 15th however with Hurricane Francine passing through that week we decided to push it back a week to the 22nd. Early in the morning sixteen anglers gathered at The Foggy Waters Marina ready to do battle and hoping that the storm didn't hurt the fishing. Not long into the morning the anglers could tell that something was off. The fish were extremely lethargic. There was a few decent bags brought in however talking to the anglers it wasn't easy to come by. Kyle Metzger took home first place with his 8.64 lbs. limit. For second we had a father-son battle. In this battle, youth prevailed this time over age as Jimmy Dorris brought in a 7.71 lbs. limit to beat out Bill Dorris who brought in a 7.17 lbs. limit. John Seghers brought in the big fish of the day which weighed 2.97 lbs.
