The Liars and Lunkers are pleased to announce their schedule of events for 2015. For the fifteenth year, the Liars and Lunkers will be hosting open team bass tournaments on the Pearl River system. A five tournament series will be held between February and June, culminating in a Classic Tournament in July. These tournaments will be $50 per boat and each will run from safe light until 2:00PM. In order to qualify for the Classic Tournament in July, teams need to fish in at least three of the five events. The dates and locations are as follows:
2/22 East Pearl River
3/22 Lock One (either side)
4/19 Crawford's Landing
5/17 East Pearl River
6/14 Crawford's Landing
7/12 Classic Tournament - East Pearl River
Beginning March 12, 2015, the Liars and Lunkers will continue the widely popular Thursday evening tournaments at Lock One in Pearl River. These tournaments begin each Thursday at 5:00PM and end at dark. Entry fee for these tournaments is $21 per boat.
The most important Liars and Lunkers event for 2015 will be the 15th Annual Lock One Kids Tournament. This event is free for kids between 3 and 12. Trophies and prizes will be awarded to the top ten in four different categories. The categories include bass, catfish, bream and other. There will be free food, drinks and give-a-ways, as well as a casting contest and raffle.
