The anglers showed up in big numbers today for our Lock 1 tournament. We had 20 anglers, and 4 Little Tanglers came out to brave the heat. The fishing wasn't to bad either. We saw a lot of fish brought to the scale. However, there can only be one winner. The winner was Lock 1 vet Morgan Schutte who brought in a limit tipping the scales to 8 lbs. 2 oz. His bag also had a 3 lbs. 4 oz. big bass that still did not take home the big fish honors. Those honors went to Timmy Dickens who's 4 lbs. 6 oz. bass was only one of a 4 fish bag good for second. Timmy's bag weighed 7 lbs. 6 oz. Third went to Tommy Cooper with a 6 lbs. 1 oz. limit. Todd Stine took home fourth place with four fish weighing 5 lbs. 10 oz. In the Little Tanglers we had a close race. In first was Mehgan Hillman had one fish that weighed 2 lbs. 4 oz. good enough to take home first place, and big fish. Close behind in second was Payton Waller with a 1 lbs. 15 oz. bass.
