Chris Basey

Fifteen anglers and 2 youngsters came out to fish the very low West Pearl today.  As folks brought their fish up to weigh it was evident it wasa great day on the water.  That, of course,  makes for a close race for the top places.  Only two onces separated first from third place.  Cory Wheat squeezed out the win with a 8 lbs. 13 oz. limit.  Right behind him was Lawrence Lemoine with a 8 lbs. 12 oz. limit.  Nipping at Lawrence's heals was Todd Stein with a 5 fish bag weighing 8 lbs. 11 oz.  Todd did manage to bring in the big fish of the day which was a 3 lbs 9 oz. bass.  In the Little Tangles division there was another Stein in the mix.  Chris Stein took home the win with a 3 fish limit going 3 lbs. 8 oz.
