The last regular season tournament on the 2016 Liars and Lunkers schedule was held at Crawford's Landing on June 12th. Twenty one (21) teams found the West Pearl River below 7 feet on the river gauge when they arrived. The majority of the teams stayed on the Pearl River system all day and reported catching lots of bass. Most found bass eager to bite spinner baits, jigs and soft plastics in drains and in any other area with clean water. The team of Joe Picone and Randy Spiers bested the field at the end of the day with 11.87 pounds. The winning teams sack also included the tournaments biggest bass, a 4.96 pound lunker. The top four (4) teams received cash prizes and the results are as followed:

The Liars and Lunkers Classic Tournament will be held at Lock One on July 10th. Anglers can launch on either side and weigh in will be at noon. Awards for the best teams of the year, cash prizes and lunch will be handed out immediately following the weigh in. The Classic tournament is free of charge to anyone who fished in at least three (3) Liars and Lunkers events on the 2016 schedule.
