It was a hot day on the river. The water temps were in the high 80's and it was stained to muddy. Then all the pleasure boats showed up adding 3 foot waves to the mix. Seemed like a good day to stay home but not for The Bass Assassins. Bobby had 3 fish that went 6 lbs. 1 oz. Paul Paille brought in a limit weighing 5 lbs. 15 oz. to claim fourth.
Big fish was a beautiful 4 lbs. 6 oz. bass brought in by Shaun Miley. Twenty-three anglers put in this morning to fish. With that many anglers out there someone will figure them out. That they did. When all the fish were weighed in Ronald Pierre was on the top. Ronald brought in a 9 lbs. 12 oz. limit. Ricky Benitez took second with 3 fish weighing 7 lbs even. Third went to Bobby Newberry. Other anglers who caught fish: 5th: Brandon Fauntleroy 5 fish 5 lbs. 8 oz. 6th: Kevin Williams 4 fish 5 lbs. 5 oz. 7th: Luke O'Neil 3 fish 4 lbs. 13 oz.
