A light breeze greeted 22 anglers who fished the Double Nickel East tournament on Tuesday. The winds held off for the most part but did pick up closer to weigh-in. There was an incoming tide all morning. In the end it was Ralph Williams who took first place with a limit that weighed 6.37 pounds. Williams barely edged out Bill Dorris who brought in a bag weghing 6.36 pounds to take second place. Dorris took second lace in the big bass division as well. Rob Roberts came in third place with 5.56 pounds.  Brian Sollberger brought in the heaviest bass weighing 3.32 pounds.

The Double Nickel West fishing the Tchefuncte River on Tuesday. The skies were clear and so was the river. There were limits brought to the scales in the end and it was Ron Hindman who came out on top with a 3-fish limit of 5.8 pounds. In second place was Joe Picone with a limit that weighed 5.26. Picone also won the big bass pot with a 3.60-pound bass. In Third place was Bobby Newberry who brought in a bag that weighed 2.95 pounds. 

The Double Nickel Bass Club (West) fished the Tchefuncte River on Tuesday. The river was clean and the weather was perfect for the event, however, the fish did not cooperate for the 4 anglers that fished today. In the end it was Bobby Newberry who came out on top with a imit weighing 3.16 pounds. Newberry also won the big fish pot with a bass that weighed 1.30 pounds.
