The last Bass Assassins tournament was scheduled for Crawfords landing however recent rains have pushed the river to over 16 feet and rising so we moved the launch location to the Hwy. 90 launch on the East Pearl.  The forecast for the day was for heavy rains and thunderstorms.  Despite these tough conditions we had 13 anglers show up to try their luck.  At the launch the water was muddy, low, and flowing out fast.  As the day played out the rains got harder, the winds harder and the lightning popping.  At the scales it was apparent it was a tough day.  Eric Ciko was able to come out on top of this tough event with a 11.16 lbs. limit to claim first and a 5.68 lbs. kicker to claim big fish honors as well.
