Dwain Crumby -A group of 22 anglers gathered at the East Pearl River to fish the Double Nickel East tournament. Anglers enjoyed nice weather and the gnats were kept under control due to the breeze on the water. At blast off half the boats went north and half went south. In the end it was Rob Roberts who took first place with a 3fish limit of 9.10 pounds. Roberts also won second place in the big bass division with a 4.32-pound fish. Bill Dorris came in second place with 6.76 pounds. C J Pichon came in third place with 6.19 pounds. Pichon also won the big fish pot with a 4.43-pound fish.
