Chris Basey This past Sunday the Bass Assassins launched out of Crawfords Landing on the West Pearl River. The river was at a great level and the color of the water was great so it looked like it was going to be a great day for the 13 anglers who showed up to fish. At the end of the day however it was obvious it was a tough day. No limits were brought into the scales. Ron Garic managed 4 nice fish, however, to land him first place. Ron's bag weighed 8 lbs. 3 oz. and was anchored by the 3 lbs. 10 oz. big fish of the day. In second was Jim Harris with four fish for 6 lbs. 11 oz. In third we find Morgan Schutte with four fish totaling 6 lbs. 7 oz.
