Originally today was scheduled for Crawfords Landing. High water rolling through that area was the reason why we changed the location to Lock 1. A record number of anglers for a Bass Assassins Lock 1 tournament. When Sign in was done 24 anglers had showed up. The conditions had been setting up for a slug fest. Well no one brought in any swamp donkeys, but lots of fish were brought to the scales. Seven limits were brought in, and a total of 48 bass brought in. Of course its not the number you catch that wins. Ronald Pierre was the angler who bested the field with his 9 lbs. 4 oz. limit. In second was Joe Picone with a 7 lbs. 1 oz. limit.
