This past Sunday found the 23 Bass Assassins launching at the Bayou Liberty Marina for the last time this year. The fishing has been tough on this bayou the last couple of weeks so lower weights were expected, however the points race is heating up even more. We have another lead change with Eric Ciko jumping pass Patrick and Chris. Not long into the morning you could deffinently tell things were not going as planned for most anglers due to the boats constantly running up and down the bayou. After a long hard day we all showed back up at the launch to put our hard earned fish on the scale to put some points on the board. Ronald Pierre brought in the biggest bag weighing in at 8 lbs. 3 oz. taking home 1st place. CJ Pichon followed in second with a 5 lbs. 9 oz. limit. In third we find Jimmy Dorris with a 5 lbs. 7 oz. limit. Eric Ciko rounded up the top 4 with his 5 lbs. 3 oz. limit. Jim Harris took home the big fish award with his beautiful 4 lbs. 3 oz. bass.
