Chris Basey Once again we had our fathers day tournament, and it landed on Lacombe. Hot was the word of the day. It was a scorcher out there. For some in the field it was their second day on the water having fished Saturday on the Tchefuncte. At the weigh in everyone pretty much just wanted to hang out in the shade. However the weather wasn't the only thing hot today. There was a lot of fish caught today, and some nice weights on the scale. 2015 Bass Assassins Classic winner Steve Ruschmeier beat the field today with a 7 lbs. 7 oz limit. Right behind him in second was last years Angler Of The Year Jimmy Dorris with a limit weighing 7 lbs. 4 oz. Paul Paille managed a 7 lbs. even limit to land third place. Big fish went to Jason Pittman for a nice 3 lbs. 12 oz. kicker he had.
