Joe Picone The Double Nickel tournament on the Tchefuncte River was moved from Tuesday to Thursday becuase of bad weather. 7 anglers showed up to fish a river that was teaming with baitfish. While the day turned out to be perfect, the fishing was sub par. Tommy Rogers managed to put together a 3-fish bag that weighed 4.03 pounds for the win. In second place was Ron Hindman who caught a limit that weighed 3.37 pounds. Hindman also brought in the big fish of the day: a 2.04-pound bass.
